Company Overview

Bounce is a consumer research platform that enables consumer facing brands to gather authentic consumer data from anyone in the world, in real time. We make consumer research easy, delivering the speed, ease, and agility of a technology platform, with the support, robustness, and flexibility of a research agency.

Bounce is trusted by the world’s largest brands including Coca Cola, Diageo, Pernod Ricard & Tesco. We are on a mission to revolutionize how brands reach and understand their customers. We are growing rapidly and have positions for people who thrive in a high growth environment.

Our team members are the prime drivers of our success, and we can directly attribute their effort to the growth of our company. We believe that early team members should have ownership in the company they build, and therefore we offer stock options as part of all compensation packages, in addition to base salary & performance related incentives. Bounce Insights is an equal opportunities employer.

Purpose of Position

We are hiring a Product Operations team member to work directly with the Head of Product and help scale how product decisions are made, documented, and delivered across the company.

As we grow, the volume of inputs from Sales, Research, Engineering, and Executive stakeholders has increased significantly. This role exists to bring structure, clarity, and operational rigour to our product organisation.

You will sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Research ensuring that:

  • Engineering always knows what they are building and why.

  • Sales know what features are coming and when.

  • The roadmap remains stable, intentional, and data backed.

  • Fewer unstructured initiatives enter development.

  • Product decisions are documented, graded, and aligned to long term vision.

This is not a project management role. It is a hands on, technically literate Product Operations role designed to turn strategy into clear specifications and coordinated execution.

Responsibilities

Product Specification & Engineering Alignment

  • Translate product opportunities, client requests, and research insights into clear engineering ready specifications.

  • Define scope, success metrics, dependencies, and trade offs for new initiatives.

  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure specs are actionable, well graded, and aligned to roadmap priorities.

  • Improve documentation standards across the product lifecycle.

Cross Functional Coordination

  • Act as the structured intake point for Sales and Research requests.

  • Assess, shape, and prioritise incoming initiatives before they reach Engineering.

  • Ensure stakeholders are consulted early and decisions are documented clearly.

  • Reduce roadmap volatility by improving clarity before build begins.

Roadmap & Blueprint Support

  • Feed structured insights and analysis into the Head of Product to inform Vision, Blueprint, and Roadmap decisions.

  • Maintain decision logs and supporting artefacts.

  • Support quarterly and rolling planning cycles.

  • Ensure short term delivery remains aligned with long term product strategy.

Product Operations & Documentation

  • Build and maintain clear product documentation across features, systems, and data assets.

  • Improve how product updates are communicated internally.

  • Contribute to executive updates with structured, data backed insights.

  • Help create a repeatable operating rhythm for the Product organisation.

Sustained Differentiation & Data Assets

  • Support the development of sustained differentiation by identifying opportunities within our data assets, analytics capabilities, and platform strengths.

  • Explore practical improvements that strengthen our competitive positioning.

Translate differentiation thinking into testable initiatives and structured experiments.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in Product, Software Engineering, or a technically adjacent role.

  • Experience writing detailed specifications for engineering teams.

  • Strong ability to convert ambiguity into structured documentation and actionable plans.

  • Comfortable conversing technically with engineers (you do not need to be a software engineer, but technical fluency is important).

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders without being overly influenced by any single group.

  • Self driven, organised, and highly ownership oriented.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Background in Engineering, Product Management, or a technical discipline.

  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in an Agile or iterative environment.

  • Experience shaping product materials, documentation, or structured decision artefacts.

  • Familiarity with data driven decision making and analytics.

  • Coding experience is a plus, but not required.

Benefits

  • Innovative Environment: Be part of a team pushing the boundaries of market research technology.

  • Career Growth: Work directly with the Head of Product and play a foundational role in scaling the Product function.

  • Flexible Working: Hybrid model with 3 days on site in our Dublin HQ and 2 days remote per week.

  • Holiday Policy: Generous holiday policy and extra remote working time.

  • Collaborative Culture: Work cross functionally across Engineering, Sales, Research, and Exec leadership.

  • Competitive Compensation & Ownership: Stock options may also be included as part of compensation.
